The Dukum Inn was established at this location as a local tavern in 1938. This business has a long and rich history. Our goal has always been to retain the original early-century feel of the tavern while keeping ahead of the current trends in product sales in the industry. We are committed to allowing this business to change according to the desires of our patrons and emerging trends in the liquor industry while retaining its integrity and character. At the Dukum Upp, we feature many of Kirksville's local talents as well as many other bands from all over the U.S. (i.e. STEVE EWING, the lead singer of The Urge and Ike Reilly Assassination). The Dukum Grill features some of the best food in town. Fast, delicious, and not too filling to have another beer. Our feature is the "2nd Best Burger in Town" topped with grilled peppers and onions. We have also brought back the old Taco Shoppe fry bread tacos. Chicken strips, BBQ rib-lets, peel and eat jumbo shrimp, a battered tenderloin sandwich and cod fish round out our menu. Or try our mouth watering onion rings, locally famous and hand made from scratch. The grille is open Monday through Saturday from 5 pm-9 pm. Come early, stay late. We carry an extensive selection of liquors, including many single malt scotches, small batch bourbons, and many varieties of premium vodkas and tequilas. Come in and find out about all of our daily and weekly specials. With three pool tables, dartboards and a full-length shuffle puck table, you can always find a game. On Mondays and Thursdays, we feature Texas Hold'em poker. On Tuesdays, come on in and karaoke with Wendy.
